How much does it cost?

A calendar costs € 16,95 per year. That's VAT included. The costs are lower when you have more than 2 calendars in your account. With 3, 4 of 5 calendars the costs are 14,95 per calendar per year. For 6 to 10 calendars, the costs are 11,95 per calendar per year.
Do you want to manage more than 10 calendars in your account? Then contact us for a tailor-made rate.
* The rates will be adjusted with effect from 1 January 2026. A calendar then costs 17.95 per year. With 3, 4 or 5 calendars 15.95 per calendar per year, and with more than 5 calendars 12.95 per calendar per year.
Of course you can first try the calendervan.nl calmly and free of charge. The first 30 days of your first calendar are completely free and without obligations.

Can I also indicate changeover days with the calendar?

Yes. It is possible to indicate availability per half day. In this way you can switch the mornings and afternoons separately from 'available' to 'occupied' and vice versa.

Can I also indicate 'reserved' (in option) with the calendar?

Yes. It is possible to indicate a 'reserved' status. So you can switch from 'available' to 'reserved' to 'occupied' and vice versa if you wish.

I want to include the calendar in my own website. Is that possible?

Yes. You can integrate the calendar into your own website using a so-called iFrame construction. Instructions for this are listed in the details of your calendar. Some knowledge of website building is required for this. If desired, we can assist you with this (at an hourly rate), or contact your webdeveloper.

Can I also process bookings with the calendar?

No. With the calendar you can only show the availability.

How long are the calendar dates stored?

The calendar date settings (the 'occupied' and 'available' settings) are stored in our database for at least 2 years. So you can always go back up to two years to view your calendar dates. Date settings older than 2 years are being removed automatically on a regular basis.

Can I change the design of the calendar?

Yes. You can link a so-called CSS script to your calendar. With that CSS script you can adjust the design of the calendar to your wishes. Some knowledge of HTML and CSS is required for this. If required, we can help you with this (at an hourly rate), or contact your website builder for this.

Can I also display the calendar in other languages?

Yes. You can display the calendar in 1 of the 6 available languages: Dutch (default), English, German, French, Spanish or Italian.

Can I also link the calendar to other calendar systems?

Many calendar systems use so-called iCal-links with which calendar data can be exchanged between different systems. dekalendervan.nl also offers that option*. You can export the calendar to other calendar systems, or import the data from 1 other calendar system into dekalendervan.nl.
*)However, synchronizing calendar systems via an iCal-link regularly leads to problems due to its complexity and because not all calendar systems use the same methodology. It is therefore possible that a desired calendar link cannot be realized. We therefore do not guarantee this functionality.

How do I pay for my calendar?

Billing for the calendar is automatic. You will receive an email requesting online payment for the calendar. In the Netherlands, you can pay via iDeal, in Belgium via Bancontact, and in Germany via Sofort Banking.
If you are unable or unwilling to pay online, you can receive an invoice in advance. Please contact us for this. An administration fee may apply.

What about VAT for business customers abroad?

Are you a company using DeKalenderVan and located outside the Netherlands, but within the Eurozone? Then it's generally possible to receive an invoice that doesn't include VAT (VAT is reverse-charged). You then pay the VAT in your country of establishment. If you require a VAT-shifted invoice, please contact us. An administration fee of 7.50 euro will be charged for drawing up a VAT-shifted invoice.
Due to the complexity of tax regulations, we do not issue VAT-shifted invoices to companies in countries outside the Eurozone.
